Eagle Rare 10 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey, Eighties Lawrenceburg Bottling
This exceptionally rare 10 year old Eagle Rare Kentucky straight Bourbon whiskey was produced at the Old Prentice distillery in Lawrenceburg and bottled, we believe due to the code on the bottle base, in 1983.
Filled from new charred American white oak at 45% ABV, this Bourbon was bottled for the Italian market and comes with the original box – which has picked up a few minor creases along the way, see image.
Eagle Rare claim that their process of picking barrels is so particular that only one barrel in every 37 laid down is judged fine enough to be bottled and sold.
