This well aged Jefferson’s straight Bourbon whiskey was matured for 18 years in barrels from the old Stitzel-Weller distillery, which closed its doors in 1991.
Filled from Batch No. 12 at 47% ABV (94 proof), this limited release was bottled for Jefferson’s Presidential Select series in 2010 as bottle number 1528 and is now increasingly difficult to obtain.
Jefferson’s was launched in 1997 and is a non-distiller producer of bourbon and rye. The company buys its aged bourbon and rye from other producers and then blends the various barrels to create its own releases.
