This legendary Pappy Van Winkle’s 23 Year old straight Kentucky Bourbon whiskey was selected from Pappy Van Winkle’s private stock and bottled at 95.6 proof (47.8% ABV) for their Family Reserve series.
Filled from charred American oak barrels, this limited release Bourbon was bottled as bottle number E-2015 in 2013 and comes supplied with a fine black velvet bag.

The Van Winkles decide to move all distilling to the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort. Kentucky in 2002 – previously it has produce in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
